For all of you out in xanga-land.......
Honestly, I have NO idea where I left off. . .yes, it has been Way Too Long. I'm guessing I haven't updated since Christmas (probably before that) so, I will post some of our holiday memories and go from there. . .
My son, loving the santa hat! He can be such a charmer (he gets that from me) and tends to love attention (he gets that from his dad)
The reindeer happens to be Nathaniel, and don't you love the handsome Santa?
Elaina, or "Nena" as we call her, sitting pretty on daddy's lap.
One of the most amazing experiences of my Christmas was seeing my dad for the first time in YEARS! More than that, establishing a relationship with eachother - which we have never had. It was a real gift and treat! I loved having him in my home for 3 weeks!
Getting on their level was helpful for the children. They weren't exactly sure how to take this stranger in their home. But once dad started playing with them - they warmed up quickly!
AND THEN - the electric went out. Was it THAT bad? YES!!! It got down to 47 degrees in this house and it took 2 days to warm back up to 65. It was horrible!

Wow, dear lady, it's been way to long since I've seen or talked to you!! Your kids are so cute!! I am so glad that you got to spend that much time with your dad!!!! and freezin' looks miserable!!
It was good to hear from you again. It was nice to see part of your family a couple weeks ago. Next time, hopefully, we can see you as well!
