It's been a long time....

I have all but given up on xanga....it seems to take SO long to update ANYTHING! Been sitting here for 20 min. just attempting to change my theme. Whatever!

Hello to all and Happy New Year. I was having months of struggles with xanga. For some strange reason I haven't been able to upload my pictures. It took me about 20 or more minutes this AM, but I finally created a new photo album for your viewing. Check out our Pre-Christmas activities and our Christmas activities! Enjoy!

I thought I would post a few more pictures of the "Big Event"

This is the 1st time they handed Elaina to me. My husband, who has a big and gentle heart, cried.

I was so thankful that both of our mothers could be there. Gladys, Atlee's mom, was a tremendous blessing! She basically caught the baby! Yep, the doctor didn't make it! I was so relieved that she was there. And thanks to my mom for most of the pictures. She helped to comfort me and snap pictures when she could! What can I say?? We have awesome moms!!!

Nathaniel came and saw us and the baby that evening. He didn't quite understand everything but he sure loved clicking all the buttons on the hosptial  bed!

And now. . .she's home. Safe and sound! Nathaniel just loves her.

Thankful for. . .

Wow! This year is full of Thanks! I'm thankful for:

...the safe arrival of our daughter, Elaina Rose.

...our little boy, Nathaniel Martin.

...the help and blessing of my mom, Mary! She's my hero!

...my wonderful husband who's had the patience of Job throughout my pregnancy. He's a good dad and a wonderful man. I can not brag enough!

...warm and delicious coffee. I am so thankful to be able to drink coffee again and enjoy it. (While I'm pregnant I can't handle drinking coffee. It makes me sick.) 

...I'm thankful for the holidays, when my husband is at home and we can spend time together as a family.

...I'm thankful for my in-laws! I know that I have been blessed with a wonderful family. They are so giving and I can't brag enough about them either!
